The Djembe is an ancient drum originally from Africa. With a rope-tied head and a handle to place the instrument between your legs, the only non-traditional aspects of this drum are the size and the synthetic rather than skin head. Along the sides of the drum you can find carvvings of the African Elephant, and it is painted a beautiful red color. While it is used, you will have a hard time telling because it was extremely well kept and is in like new condition.
